OUTsurance walked away as winners in the short-term insurance business-to-consumer category and came in second in the business-to-business category.

Last week marked the 13th annual Sunday Times Top Brands Awards ceremony where leading South African brands from a variety of consumer and business categories were awarded the esteemed title of “Top Brand” within their respective category.

OUTsurance walked away as winners in the short-term insurance business-to-consumer category and came in second in the business-to-business category.

OUTsurance first won the Top Brands Award in 2005 and since then, they achieved top honours in the business-to-consumer category five times already.

That’s no small feat considering that TNS Research Surveys interviewed more than 3 500 South Africans from all walks of life to accurately determine a specific brand’s market penetration as well as its appeal amongst users and non-users.

Ernst Gouws, CEO of OUTsurance comments, “it’s great to see that we’ve managed to grow into a very large and trusted brand, and into being the undisputed market leader among the direct insurers.”

He concludes by saying that “the market is getting more competitive by the day, and we know we need to work flat-out to ensure we continue to give our clients ‘awesome service’. In the end that’s what our clients expect when we promise ‘you’ll always get something OUT.”
