About the Pointsmen Project
For more than 20 years, the OUTsurance Pointsmen have been helping to keep South Africa moving. In 2005, OUTsurance partnered with Traffic Freeflow to launch the Pointsmen Project, helping to ease traffic congestion, improve road safety, and create employment opportunities for people from underprivileged communities.
Passionate about what they do, our Pointsmen and Pointswomen are committed to making your daily commute a little easier. You'll recognise them by their bright green bibs, friendly smiles, and dedication to keeping traffic flowing.

The Pointsmen Project is currently active in Tshwane, Johannesburg, Paarl and Stellenbosh as a result of a great partnership with the cities of Johannesburg and Tshwane, as well as the Stellenbosch and Drakenstein municipalities.
