OUTsurance sponsors the OUTsurance Oval, the former Good Year Park.

OUTsurance have stepped up their sponsorship involvement by sponsoring the former Good Year Park, now known as The OUTsurance Oval.

Head of Marketing at OUTsurance, Peter Cronje, believes that this sponsorship will be a cost effective way of targeting their market, "Our overall brand strategy is to position OUTsurance Insurance as South Africa's premier insurer offering value for money insurance cover. We wanted the OUTsurance brand to feel more local in the greater Bloemfontein area."

Johan van Heerden, CEO of the Free State Cricket Union, is looking forward to the partnership, "OUTsurance is a fantastic company to work with, with unique and interesting ideas. I have no doubt that the FSCU will back them up with our professionalism as well as some winning and exciting cricket. We have already painted the stadium in the unique OUTsurance green, and this is most definitely going to be an electrifying innings for both parties."

Gestetner Diamond Eagles coach, Corrie van Zyl explains why it is important to have major corporate entities involved in sport, "A company such as OUTsurance has the ability and spend to create an enhanced experience for the spectators. It's a simple theory: The more pleasant and memorable the experience is, the more likely you are to return. With OUTsurance's help, we will get the stadiums full again."

Cronje believes that sponsoring the Oval will give OUTsurance the ideal opportunity to show the residents of Bloemfontein what the brand is all about, "In building a trustworthy and credible brand, consumers want to be able to touch and experience the brand and get a feeling for what the company is all about."

The first match taking place at the OUTsurance Oval will be the Castle Test Series from the 25 - 28 October, and sees South Africa ‘A' challenge New Zealand.
