OUTsurance scooped up the top brand award in the short-term insurance business-to-business category in the 2010 Sunday Times Top Brands Awards.

OUTsurance scooped up the top brand award in the short-term insurance business-to-business category in the 2010 Sunday Times Top Brands Awards held at the Scarlett Ribbon in Johannesburg last night.

TNS Research Surveys interviewed 3 500 South African consumers and more than 400 business leaders. Once again, brands were scored and rated based on factors such as commitment, trust and confidence and brand familiarity.

In response to this year's results, Debbie Booth, TNS Research Surveys' Client Service Business Manager comments that "the business-to-business survey results remained stable in comparison with last year's results, with this sector showing 'recession resilience'."

"Strong brands remained strong and sometimes even stronger, where people tended to turn and return to brands they know and love in tough times," says Booth.

Peter Cronjé, Head of Marketing for OUTsurance comments that "this is an outstanding achievement for our business insurance product and will definitely serve as a great incentive for us to work even harder to exceed our business clients' expectations in the year ahead."
