OUTsurance has, for the third consecutive year, been recognised as a Top Employer by the Top Employers Institute.

A total of 138 South African companies have been certified with OUTsurance named as one of the top 25 financial services-related companies certified in South Africa.

David Plink, CEO of the Top Employers Institute, highlighted the significance of this achievement, especially in challenging times: ‘Exceptional times bring out the best in people and organisations. And we have witnessed this in our Top Employers Certification Programme this year: exceptional performance from the certified Top Employers 2024.’

Suren Naidoo, Chief People Officer at OUTsurance, says that, 'We’re thrilled to have received this certification for the third consecutive year. It solidifies OUTsurance's well-deserved position as a leader in exemplary people management.

‘We are dedicated to cultivating a workplace culture that not only meets industry standards but exceeds them, providing an environment where our team can flourish and deliver their best.

‘This certification is a source of pride for our team, spurring us on to work harder, innovate, and consistently raise the bar for employee satisfaction and professional growth.’

The Top Employers Institute stands as the global authority in acknowledging excellence in People Practices. Participating organisations undergo a HR Best Practices Survey, which is structured around various topics such as the organisation’s general staff wellbeing, talent acquisition, learning, diversity, equity, inclusion, people strategy, and work environment. A dedicated HR auditor has to ensure that the answers provided accurately reflect the firm’s HR practices and conditions for employees.

In 2024, the Institute acknowledged over 2,300 top employers spanning 121 countries for their outstanding workplace practices. These certified top Employers positively impact the lives of over 12 million employees globally.
