OUTsurance Life Insurance is proud to announce its recent partnership with Movember South Africa.

OUTsurance Life Insurance is proud to announce its recent partnership with Movember South Africa. The focus of this partnership is to help create awareness around men’s health issues – specifically testicular and prostate cancer.

Peter Cronjé, Head of Marketing at OUTsurance comments that although many guys tend to believe that Movember is all about having some fun and growing a moustache, in reality – there’s a much more serious side to this.

In fact, OUTsurance and Movember would like to challenge South African guys to really go all out this year to show their commitment, not only by growing a moustache but also by registering on the Movember website (http://za.movember.com) as soon as possible. The cut-off date for registrations is 31 October 2012.

On registration, you will receive your very own Mospace page where your friends and family can track your progress and provide you with the necessary moral support. In addition, they have the opportunity to donate funds towards cancer research, education and cancer survivorship programmes run by the Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA).

Ladies, this one’s definitely not just for men. You too can register for Movember to become an honorary “Mo-Sister “ who can help us raise even more funds, who can help raise awareness around men’s health issues – and of course, encourage the men in your life to join this great initiative.

All Mo-Brothers need to start the month of November clean shaven and will need to grow and groom their moustaches throughout the course of the month. At the end of November, Mo-Brothers and Sisters will have the opportunity to attend one of the many glamorous Movember gala events that will be held across the country.

OUTsurance will donate R200 to CANSA SA for every registered Mo-Brother and Mo-Sister who gets an obligation-free OUTsurance life insurance quote.
