Solar power as an alternative source of energy
In 2017, we installed a 210 kilowatt peak solar system on the roof of our head office in Centurion, boasting 810 solar panels of 260 watts each. This system was projected to reduce our carbon emissions by 303.52 tons annually, generating approximately 316,060 kilowatt hours per year.

Fast forward to today, and we have a total of 4,893 solar panels installed. This solar system, with a peak capacity of 1957 kilowatts, produces around 3,130,060 kilowatts hours of energy annually.
Building on our initial investment, we’ve have successfully decreased our carbon emissions by 3,088 tons a year, marking a pivotal step in our journey towards sustainable operations.
