The News24 Business Awards serves to recognise South African companies and CEOs for doing exceptional work in building successful businesses and for going the extra mile when it comes to communication, transparency and delivering outstanding client service.
News24 surveyed more than 5 100 South African consumers and asked them to rate short-term insurers based on factors such as premiums, client service and claims. A team of News24 journalists also reviewed media relations, transparency in communications, products, consumer platforms, and Corporate Social Investment (CSI) projects.
Upon receiving the award, Danie Matthee, Chief Executive Officer at OUTsurance said that ‘It is a wonderful occasion to be here. Hopefully in a few years to come, we can be here and also compete in some of the other categories.’
Helena Wasserman, News24 Business editor mentions that OUTsurance received ‘high client satisfaction scores, and outperformed [their competitors] when we looked at other factors, including innovation and strategy.’
She continues by saying that the News24 Business team was particularly impressed with the manner in which OUTsurance communicated its products and how easy it was to understand the various product and cover options.
This award is the latest addition to OUTsurance’s impressive list of accolades, the most recent of which is the 2022/2023 Ask Afrika Icon Brands ™ Benchmark Survey where OUTsurance was named the preferred brand for ‘car insurance’ and ‘buildings and household contents’ insurance.
