CENTURION, 15 March 2024 – OUTsurance once again walked away with top honours as Short-Term Insurer of the Year at the 2024 News24 Business Awards, held at a prestigious gala event in Cape Town on Thursday evening.

The News24 Business Awards is now in its second year and serves to recognise South African CEOs and companies for the important role they play within the South African economy in building successful businesses and in raising the bar when it comes to delivering exceptional customer service, innovative products and timely, relevant communication.

As part of a comprehensive evaluation process, News24 examined the various leaders’ and companies’ level of innovation, their commitment to building a better South Africa, as well as their ability to navigate complex challenges.

The selection criteria were specifically designed to identify companies who contribute positively to the South African economic landscape and who excel in their respective fields. These are typically companies who tend to lead the industry by setting new standards and best practices for others to follow.

Danie Matthee, Chief Executive Officer at OUTsurance said that 'I would like to accept the award on behalf of each and every OUTsurance employee. At OUTsurance, we are very fortunate in that we have an amazing team of smart, passionate individuals who will do whatever it takes to make the brand promise come to life, making sure that our clients “always get something OUT.”

'To have won this award for the second year in a row is no small feat. Especially when you look at all the other very strong short-term insurers in the market. I am looking forward to what the future holds for us as a company; we’re eager to build on our success and move forward to set new benchmarks in innovation and service excellence.'
