Of course, we want to make sure this is consistent throughout a customer’s entire journey, which places great importance on our suppliers. Whether it’s a panel beater getting a vehicle back on the road or plumber replacing a geyser, our suppliers are our brand ambassadors, helping us to help our clients in their time of need.
This is why, every year, we embark on a Service Provider Roadshow, where our procurement, claims and services teams meet with our national service providers. The aim is to discuss performance over the last year, to plan for the year ahead and to acknowledge those who have excelled with a prestigious awards ceremony.
With a theme titled, ‘The OUTway’, this year’s event encouraged our suppliers to join us on our journey to unprecedented client service levels, with a foundation built on OUTsurance's very own core principles of success: to Disrupt, Simplify and Serve.
What’s more, the occasion provided the opportunity for learning. We know that our service providers are not just representatives of OUTsurance. They are also small- to medium-sized businesses that help to boost our country’s economy every day - and it’s our duty to help them grow. This year, we also invited Google to present ‘Google My Business’ at the roadshow, helping suppliers understand and implement an online presence. In the new world of digital disruptions, businesses need to think about marketing their businesses online to bring in new customers and build online credibility.
All in all, the event was a success and we’re excited to see the positive outcomes over the next year. Here’s to continued improvement, and continued belief that when we help our partners grow, we grow too.
