How do I know how much funeral cover do I need?
This really depends on you. At OUTsurance, the total cover amount is between R30 000 and R100 000. On top of that you get amazing benefits such as a bonus month after 12 paid monthly premiums, pause and play, and your children remain on cover for their entire life (i.e. even when they exceed 21 years in age).

How many people can I cover on one plan?
You can take out funeral cover for yourself, your spouse, up to eight children and even your parents and parents-in-law. You can add or remove family members with only the tap of a button, whenever you want. Please remember that a waiting period will apply for new members who are added to your policy.
What is the difference between life insurance and funeral cover?

What is the bonus month?

What is pause and play?
You can pause your cover and premium payments for three months. After three months, your cover will continue as normal.
