Why is your premium increasing?
It is our duty to review premiums to make sure we can continue providing reliable funeral cover to all our clients.
When we review premiums, we consider the number of claims, unpaid premiums, cost changes and several other factors to ensure a fair premium is charged. Your policy allows for changes as long as we give you at least 31 days’ written notice before any changes take effect.
We understand that affordability is important, and we are committed to treating our clients fairly. Although your premium under your policy is set to increase, you still have the option to either:
- Lower your cover amount to a more affordable premium; or
- Cancel your policy at any time.
