The 21.1km, 10km, 17km Trail run and 5km Fun run will be timed by a disposable chip located on your race number. The chips are included as part of the race fee and will be issued to all race participants (apart from 5km Pet walk) in their registration packs.

How does the chip work?

  • A disposable timing chip will be placed on the front of your race number and covered by a foam strip.

  • The foam strip prevents water from affecting the chip signal. Please do not remove the foam strip. If you do, you will not receive an official time.
  • Please do not bend or fold your race number as this could affect the antennae and signal capability.
  • For all result queries please contact FinishTime Support support@finishtime.co.za or WhatsApp/Call 087 330 0001.
