Monday blues has a whole new meaning especially for Leticia Rametsi an OUTsurance Pointsmen who was helping traffic during peak hours on the corner of Beyers Naude Drive and Sundowner when she was struck by a taxi which left her hospitalised with a fractured skull.

The ice bucket challenge is a term we have all become acquainted with over the last couple of years. People including A-list celebrities from around the world has taken part in this charity driven activity that involves pouring a bucket of ice water over yourself and nominating in turn three others to do the same as well as make a donation for to the ALS Association or the J9 Foundation in South Africa.

Report of the Ombudsman for Short-Term Insurance

During May 2014 the Ombudsman for Short-Term Insurance (OSTI) released his report for the 2013 calendar year. The OSTI is an independent body that offers dispute resolution between insurers and their clients. This is the second year in which the OSTI has made public the number of complaints received per insurer together with the number of complaints overturned with some benefit to the complainant.
