Roadside assistance

Good day Outsurance I would like to commend the Roadside Assistance team for their support and quick assistance. I was quite hysterical and traumitized after the front left wheel of my Audi A4 burst on the N12 highway. I was travelling at 120 km per hour in the far right lane when I started smelling burning rubber and the next thing my car was wobbling from side to side. I still don't know how I managed to make it to the other side of the highway without causing an accident. The shoulder space on the highway was not sufficient enough for me to park without having a part of my vehicle in the left hand lane. Huge trucks were zooming past in that lane and I thought one of them would hit my vehicle. Your Roadside Assistance guys were there in record time and fitted the spare wheel. Whew, I was very shaken by the entire experience. They were friendly and comforting. Thanks you guys!!! Regards Alex Foreman aka C A Foreman

Review of related & premium increase

After more than a month of frustrations dealing with outsurance staff, Shaita dealt with my request for a review of premium increase professionally and efficiently. Unlike her other colleagues, she called me back when she promised to do so. A very helpful person who is a valuable asset to outsurance. Out of frustration of previous recent experience, I rated my experience with Shaista negatively. I apologise that.

Buying car insurance

Tayna gave me excellent service for car insurance on two vehicles. Very professional and helpful.

Unhappy with progress of claim

I am not happy with my claim that is in progress. This is just taking to long. Our car has been in repairs for almost 30 days. This means that our car hire is expiring and we will not have any transportation. I am very disappointed in OUTSurance for having this service provider on their list as well as the service that is currently being provided by the service provider. Each time our ETA is moved we just get excuses for someone that did not do their work properly.

Claims department not returning call

We logged a claim for a motor warrenty, but they do not come back to me where to take the car to. I have been waiting for how long.

Cancellation of Policy - Premium Refund

I am disappointed in the service I received from OUTsurance regarding cancelling my policy. On the 29 March 2024 I phoned to cancel my policy with effect from 31 March 2024 as the website stated I can call and cancel with immediate effect. I then received an email stating my cancellation would be effective 28 April 2024 but from 1 April 2024 there is no policy showing as active on my OUTsurance app. Given that my bank account was also debited for the April premium, I called the call centre on 3 April 2024 and was directed to the cancellation department who advised that a refund of the premium would be processed. It is now 12 April 2024 and I am yet to receive any refund.
